Anne-Laure Vandeputte
Anne-Laure Vandeputte graduated as an actor from the Antwerp Conservatory in 2016. Since graduating, she has been actively working as a performer. She has performed with companies and directors such as SKaGeN (Closer), de Roovers (Onschuld), FC Bergman (JR), Lies Pauwels (Truth or Dare, Britney or Goofy, Nacht und Nebel, Jesus Christ or Superstar), Zuidpool (War of the Beasts and the Animals) and took on the role of Dulle Griet in Lisaboa Houbrechts’ production Bruegel.
She is also active as a creator. During her studies at the conservatory, she created the performances Ik ben echt want ik heb ribben (I am real because I have ribs) and Oerhoer (Primordial Whore). She created her graduation performance Gif (Poison) together with Michael Vergauwen. In 2019, her performance Millennialism premiered at Monty Kultuurfaktorij in Antwerp. She also assisted in directing Wie is Bang (Who is Afraid), a performance by NTGent written by Tom Lanoye. In 2020, she took on the final direction of ★★★★☆ vier sterren, the new performance by Collectief Herman, which will premiere at the Love at first Sight festival. In 2021, she created a performance in Berlin with The Berlin Stripper Collective, which premiered at Theater am Kurfürstendamm. Since 2021, Anne-Laure has been working on the project My Body as a Commodity, an artistic investigation into the similarities between the job of a performer and that of a sex worker.

In addition to her work in theater, Anne-Laure has also played a number of roles on camera. She has appeared in TV series such as Bathroom Stories, Grenslanders, De Bende van Jan de Lichte, and Red Light, as well as the short films Klette, Copain, and All of Us. She is also a member of the artistic council of the Acting program at the Conservatory in Antwerp, a school where she also teaches acting.
