In DONKEY, we see a figu­re cau­ght in inde­ci­si­ve­ness. DONKEY keeps on inter­rup­ting himself, lost in a con­stant back and forth bet­ween unfi­nis­hed gestu­res. The time in which DONKEY finds himself is frag­men­ted, mar­ked by dis­trac­ti­on and over­sti­mu­la­ti­on. Beginning and end cha­se each other until they beco­me indis­tin­guis­ha­ble, life is ​‘on repeat’. DONKEY beco­mes addic­ted to this junk time, gets com­ple­te­ly absor­bed by it until DONKEY beco­mes a cari­ca­tu­re of himself, boun­cing con­fu­sed­ly back and forth bet­ween stress and dis­so­ci­a­ti­on. But, DONKEY gains insight. DONKEY grows up. DONKEY begins to ima­gi­ne a dif­fe­rent life.
