DISQUIET graaft in op de ten­den­sen van ver­sto­ring en dysto­pie als inhe­ren­te DISQUIET onder­zoekt ver­sto­ring en dysto­pie als inhe­ren­te ele­men­ten van hard­co­re­tech­no en sub­gen­res zoals gab­ber, hards­ty­le, jun­gle en drum-’n‑bass.

Hardcoretechno wordt geken­merkt door een inten­sie­ve bas en drum, een snel­heid van mini­maal 160 bpm en nei­ging tot een ver­sto­ring van de flow. DISQUIET focust op deze soni­sche uit­bar­stin­gen, pau­zes en ver­sto­rin­gen en onder­zoekt hoe die een lichaam sti­mu­le­ren. Hardcore dan­sen wordt voor­ge­steld als een moge­lij­ke breuk met struc­tuur en een zoek­tocht naar een elders dat onrus­tig is.
