TINIEBLAS is a collection of stories about people who get lost.
Today, we live on a continent mapped down to the smallest detail. Forest paths are signposted, and routes through remote areas are meticulously described in guidebooks. Connected to thousands of satellites orbiting the Earth, we navigate our way without even looking at the world around us. But what if we actually want to get lost?
In her polyphonic performance, TINIEBLAS, visual artist Edurne Rubio allows the audience to lose their way, find it again, only to get lost once more. The theatre becomes the center of a new territory, a place with its own geographic coordinates. The audience becomes a single body in motion, like a murmuration of starlings constantly regrouping.
TINIEBLAS is a sensory experience that continuously balances between inside and outside, between the slow rhythm of the walking human and the dizzying speed of imagination, capable of teleporting us to a completely new place in an instant.
