In Pygmalion (wor­king tit­le), David Roos explo­res a lon­ging for abso­lu­te puri­ty that is dee­ply ingrai­ned in Western cul­tu­re. The whi­te mar­ble of clas­si­cal sculp­tu­re con­ceals dif­fu­se, dark desires.

Pygmalion (wor­king tit­le) finds itself in the con­fu­si­on bet­ween love and lust, bet­ween art and porn, bet­ween me and my desi­re. With all my heart, I hope I am pure. Please, let me be an angel.
