A lone raver’s body in the void, restless. Searching for something in the pulse, in the dark, in the weightless pull of sound.
Black Hole is not a party. It is a rite, a passage, a collision of past and present where a lonesome raver finds solace in movement and sound. Guided by the raw energy of 90s rave synths and basslines, entwined with ethereal echoes, this contemporary ritual emerges from North African trance traditions, unfolding in the liminal space between solitude and communion. A body in motion, led by music that cleanses, that lifts, that reclaims. The audience bears witness — to longing, to release, to old trance breathing into the new. Leaving behind what was never meant to hold us. Dancing to escape and then to return.
Between concert and dance performance, Sara Dziri investigates the raver’s experience from her own perspective, exploring trance as a space of transformation, exile, and belonging.
