By using ecsta­tic bir­thing prac­ti­ces as a main refe­ren­ce, it wants to find out how could birth be seen as a pos­si­bi­li­ty and poten­ti­al for empo­wer­ment. The work aims to bring the atten­ti­on of the spec­ta­tor also towards their own bodies. It wants to stop in the midd­le and insi­de of the doing to sen­se and obser­ve of what is (hap­pe­ning) and the being of the happening.

Unknown for tal­king bodies onder­zoekt hoe genot een ethi­sche en ver­ant­woor­de­lij­ke han­de­ling kan ten opzich­te van het mili­eu en alles dat leeft. Door mid­del van exta­ti­sche beval­lings­prak­tij­ken als voor­naams­te inspi­ra­tie­bron, ver­kent de voor­stel­ling hoe een geboor­te gezien kan wor­den als een moge­lijk­heid en poten­ti­eel voor empo­wer­ment. Het werk wil de aan­dacht van de toe­schou­wer ook rich­ten op het eigen lichaam. Het wil stil­staan te mid­den van het doen, om te voe­len en te obser­ve­ren wat er (gebeurt) en het zijn van het gebeuren.
