Sarah Van Lamsweerde (Brussels, 1971) cre­a­tes per­for­man­ces, instal­la­ti­ons and publi­ca­ti­ons that ques­ti­on the way we look at art and rea­li­ty. Experimenting with uncon­ven­ti­o­nal methods (oral tra­di­ti­ons, unfa­mi­liar lan­gu­a­ges, depri­ved sen­ses) is cen­tral to her often col­la­bo­ra­ti­ve work pro­ces­ses. She gra­du­a­ted from DasArts in Amsterdam with a mas­ter’s degree in artis­tic research and per­for­man­ce (MA). Her work is pre­sen­ted inter­na­ti­o­nal­ly in both the­a­tre and visu­al arts contexts.
