Farbod Fathinejadfard
As an Iranian-Belgian actor and theater maker, Farbod Fathinejadfard joined Transfo Collect after completing a two-year program at RITCS — first as a member, later as a professional mentor. As an actor, Farbod appeared in Capsaicin by Michiel Soete, commissioned by Globe Aroma (2016), Museum Night Fever – Villa en Pain by K.A.K (2017), and If There Weren’t Any Blacks, You’d Have to Invent Them (2018) by Aurélie Di Marino. The latter production, which was selected for the #nieuwjong series at Het Theaterfestival (2019), sparked Farbod’s creative awareness, resulting in his debut Shiraz, tell me about the revolution? (2019). In this performance, he explored the meaning of his dual identity in a world that prefers clear-cut categories. The production was nominated for the young makers program at Theater aan Zee.
