
Agathe Yamina Meziani
Agathe Yamina Meziani is a Belgo-Kabyle-Greek artist based in Brussels. Trained at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles and holding a post-master in gender studies, she creates hybrid performances that blend theatre, video, and performance. Her work explores memory, identity, and representation, notably in ik ben in de duinen verloren (2019 – 2020), a post-internet performance streamed online, and met liefde, a dance piece about the politics of love.
She was selected for the international encounters of FTA (2023) and the Common Lab (2024) for her performance, Kabylifornia. Alongside her personal creations, she has worked as a dramaturge for artists from different practices including Joey Elmaleh, Lucie Yerlès, Juliette Chevalier, Antonin Compère, Lisa Cogniaux, Lorena Spindler, and Charlotte Brihier.
