“L’enfance majeure” is a unique educational and artistic adventure that explores how childhood can become a force capable of sustaining us in the face of today’s historic challenges. Amid unprecedented change, this project seeks to imagine new narratives, adopt new perspectives, and find resources to heal ourselves through the power of childhood. Inspired by the works of Charles Fourier, an 18th-century utopian thinker, the performance plays with our fears and leads us to overcome them. Childhood holds a unique political power, a special relationship with the world that can guide us in the search for solutions to the ecological crisis. It is not a matter of “acting like a child,” but of embracing a “becoming-child,” a special power that can help us transform ourselves and adopt new rules that call for a transition. This approach becomes a source of inspiration, a resource for the present and the future.
