ICONIC A see­ks to subli­ma­te the ima­gi­na­ti­on and the repre­sen­ta­ti­on of Afro-des­cen­dants. During this resi­den­ce Sarah Maïmouna will pro­du­ce a series of port­raits inspi­red by the ico­nes of byzan­tin peri­ods. And will also pre­pa­re a ​“Power to the people”-inspired per­for­man­ce whe­re ima­ges, words and move­ment will be at the heart, lea­ving mul­ti­ple tra­ces, both visu­al and sound.
