Youngsters is a Brussels-spe­ci­fic plat­form that faci­li­ta­tes mee­tings bet­ween local artists & the diver­si­ty of local youth. The plat­form departs from an inte­rest in alter­na­ti­ve modes of exchan­ge, inter­ac­ti­on & dis­cus­si­on then tho­se pro­vi­ded insi­de edu­ca­ti­o­nal and recre­a­ti­o­nal set­tings. Youngsters is a plat­form that aims to pro­vi­de cir­cu­la­ti­on within the dif­fe­rent soci­al and cul­tu­ral sphe­res of Brussels, main­ly through artis­tic explo­ra­ti­ons and dis­cus­si­ons. Youngsters aims to be an injec­ti­on of a vari­e­ty of artis­tic pro­ces­ses — and expres­si­ons (that are local in the lar­ger art sce­ne of Brussels) into the demo­grap­hic sub­sec­ti­on that we call young­sters. It’s a plat­form that pro­mo­tes and faci­li­ta­tes a two way con­fron­ta­ti­on bet­ween indi­vi­du­al artists and youngsters

During Y‑Lab mem­bers of the plat­form gather to fur­ther devel­op and research tools, for­mats and dis­cour­se in pre­pa­ra­ti­on for futu­re con­stel­la­ti­ons with local youngsters.
