Dreaming and dan­cing together can gene­ra­te a pro­duc­ti­ve form of unba­lan­ce, which leads to exci­ting expe­rien­ces of indi­vi­du­al and col­lec­ti­ve adap­ta­bi­li­ty and reju­ve­na­ti­on. Working from the (nightti­me) dreams of the par­ti­ci­pants, we will explo­re soma­tic sta­tes and deep impul­ses within the body which can give rise to dance/​choreographic mate­ri­al which has a refres­hing, nur­tu­ring quality. 

At the same time, we will explo­re the geo­me­tric move­ments of mys­tic and trick­ster G.I. Gurdjieff, which pro­po­se a field of imper­so­nal atten­ti­on that will coun­ter­ba­lan­ce the strong sen­sa­ti­ons gene­ra­ted from dream mate­ri­al. Taken together, the­se two appro­a­ches will take us on a col­lec­ti­ve adven­tu­re into the unknown in this his­to­ri­cal moment in which rea­li­ty refu­ses to stay real.
