Bodies in Space is proud to pre­sent the final chap­ter of New Works, Emerging Bodies, A Performance Evening — a cura­ted selec­ti­on of works by emer­ging per­for­mers, cho­sen through their open call laun­ched in November 2025, in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Kunstenwerkplaats, Caravan pro­duc­ti­on and Le Bamp.

Out of 400 appli­ca­ti­ons from 40 coun­tries across five con­ti­nents, we selec­ted18 per­for­mers, resi­ding in Belgium. We’re very proud to pre­sent this selec­ti­on during 3 big per­for­man­ce week­ends taking pla­ce in February, April and June.

This time, we will sha­re a par­ti­cu­lar­ly bold series of works that push the boun­da­ries of pre­sen­ce, repre­sen­ta­ti­on, and … taming wild dogs (!).
In a new set-up, instead of sprea­ding the pro­gram over two days, we move into a con­cen­tra­ted per­for­man­ce mara­thon on Saturday eve­ning.
We will show five per­for­man­ces, each las­ting 20 – 30 minu­tes, one after the other. We begin at 20:00 and finish around 23:00, with short breaks in bet­ween.
