The prac­ti­ce of Simon Asencio addres­ses invi­si­ble cho­re­o­grap­hies, often using sub­sti­tu­ti­on and apo­ria as means to devel­op, cir­cu­la­te and pre­sent his work. Since 2014, he leads Galerie, an imma­te­ri­al gal­lery for imma­te­ri­al art­works, together with Adriano Wilfert Jensen. He is also a mind of Jessica’s body and body of Jessica’s work, a pro­trac­ted per­for­man­ce pie­ce of invi­si­ble labor.
