Lieselotte De Keyzer

Lieselotte De Keyzer 1987) gra­du­a­ted in 2013 with a Master’s degree in dra­ma from KASK in Ghent. Within her col­lec­ti­ve De polen (with Bosse Provoost, Kobe Chielens, and Geert Belpaeme), she con­tri­bu­ted to the per­for­man­ces Herberg (2015) and The Act of Dying (2017), which focu­sed on ima­ge, move­ment, sound, and rhythm. 

She wor­ked for many years in clo­se col­la­bo­ra­ti­on as a per­for­mer and cre­a­tor with Tibaldus on the pro­duc­ti­ons: Paard: een ope­ra (2010), Yvonne, Prinses van Bourgondië (2016), Het Huwelijk (2018), Gekken & Specialisten (2020), and Operette (2021). They per­for­med on sta­ges in Flanders and across Europe, such as Toneelhuis, Kaaitheater, De Grote Post, Campo, 30CC, Théâtre de la Bastille in Paris, Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin, and at fes­ti­vals inclu­ding Theater Aan Zee, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Fast Forward in Dresden, and Boulevard in Den Bosch.

In 2019 she par­ti­ci­pa­ted in Tribunal by BRONKS & Ballet Dommage (Maxim Storms and Katrien Valckenaers). In 2021 she cre­a­ted Ho(m)me with Tina Heylen and Eva Binon for the­a­ter FroeFroe, fol­lo­wed by TOUDOU (2023), which will con­ti­nue tou­ring in 2024 – 2025.

Recently, Lieselotte cre­a­ted De Vogels together with Kobe Chielens, Hans Mortelmans, Louise Bergez, and Sibran Sampers. This was the first work she made under her own name sin­ce her master’s the­sis Report of The Party And The Guests (2012). The pro­duc­ti­on was per­for­med at, among others, Oerol and TAZ 24.

Starting in 2026, Lieselotte will con­ti­nue her research on Clarice Lispector.
