Izah Hankammer is a Filipino-German dan­cer, per­for­mer and cho­re­o­grap­her. She gra­du­a­ted with a BA in Contemporary Dance at Fontys School of Arts in 2020. As a free­lan­ce dan­cer, she has wor­ked with Meyer-Chaffaud Dance Company, United Cowboys and Nicole Beutler Projects/​Schauspielhaus Bochum, among others. She was part of the artist duo moOv, and cre­a­ted pro­jects sup­por­ted by Makershuis Tilburg, United Cowboys, DansBrabant and Fonds Podiumkunsten. Since 2021 she has been wor­king with Action Zoo Humain, per­for­ming in Flemish Xperience (2021), Flemish Primitives (2022) and The Truth Commission (2023). In Perzen. Triomf van Emphathie (2024), she wor­ked on the cho­re­o­grap­hy and move­ment under the direc­ti­on of Chokri Ben Chikha. Since 2025, Action Zoo Humain has been accom­pan­ying her as a maker within the tra­jec­to­ry Inter:Action. She tour­ed her dan­ce and drum duet THE TIME IT TAKES {noma­dic}, per­for­ming dif­fe­rent loca­ti­ons as well as black box venues, such as De Brakke Grond during Amsterdam Fringe Festival 2025. She was also an artist-in-resi­den­ce at De Werfplaats of Festival Cement 2025. Currently, she is wor­king on her new pro­ject TIMEAFTERTIME, which was nomi­na­ted for the Roel Verniers Prize (Het Theaterfestival 2025) and pre­mie­res in November 2026.
